If you see one: keep your distance, leave them be and enjoy the sighting! - We recommend cleaning the grill after use and bringing all food inside at night.

We had a great stay at this place! Austin was very detailed and communicative and the cabin was incredibly cool, clean and comfortable. The beds were very cozy. My only suggestion or note for anyone traveling is that there is minimal soundproofing or insulation from the top to bottom bedroom so you can hear every step of the bedroom above and can hear conversations through the floor. just something to be mindful of!

Our stay was nice. It was good to get away since we had not been able to do so for quite some time. Only negative I will say is the bed was not that comfortable. For someone with back issues it was a little too stiff. With a different bed me and my husband would definitely return. It was exactly the get away that was needed. Austin was always so kind and I appreciate his responses when I had a question.

We adored our stay. The location was exactly as described, and we can't wait to return! The cabin was super clean, well-maintained, and in a great location. I am very picky regarding where we stay when traveling, and we felt right at home. (We didn't even feel the need to clean before settling in!) The nature surrounding the cabin was serene and beautiful. We couldn't have imagined a better stay. The hot tub was clean, and the amenities were as described. The location was perfect for visits to the National Park, Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, etc. Notes for future guests: Follow the directions Austin provides, not GPS. Although starter packs of toiletries, detergent, etc., are provided, if you have any type of longer stay, you may want to pick up some extra supplies. (We expected this, and don't fault management, as this is fairly typical of any Airbnb in the area!) If you have time and like BBQ, Bustin' Butts BBQ is nearby and is utterly delicious!

Austin’s place was incredible! We wished we could’ve stayed longer but we enjoyed as much of his place as we could! The outdoor area is peaceful amongst the trees as we enjoyed using the grill to cook dinner and then spent some time in the hot tub under the stars. The interior design of his house was spot on with everything we needed and so aesthetically pleasing! Austin as a host was so helpful, he gave us plenty of things to do in the area when we asked and was always so responsive. He also allowed us to check in early so we could drop our bags off and enjoy the mountains that afternoon! An amazing host, an amazing house and an amazing location! Would 100% recommend 🙏🏼

This was great cabin for a weekend in the Smokies! We stayed here for a few days while doing some day hiking in the park, and while this is a little further away the drive to the park using the Pigeon Forge bypass around Gatlinburg is easy. Everything was as described, the hot tub was clean, there was plenty of firewood plus a firestarter and some smores provided. The only issue we had was that the high chair that was supposed to be at the listing was nowhere to be found, but Austin was very helpful and got us a replacement same day.

Austin’s cabin was beautiful, charming and in a quiet neighborhood. Located just outside of Pigeon Forge and close to all main attractions with plenty of food options. Austin was a wonderful host and very responsive. Highly recommend for a vacation or quick getaway to the area!!

Place was much better than pictures!! We loved every bit of our stay! We were visiting for Ponies in the Smokies and was very close to each event & food places. The bonding we had around the fire pit are memories we can carry with us. Very clean, spacious for a family of 4 adults & a 4 year old. Please follow instructions on the less steep way to get to house. We didn’t and had a hard time getting up hill the first day with our Manuel car. We didn’t encounter any problems during our stay. Beds were also very comfortable. Would highly recommend booking.

This cabin was perfect! The outside deck was truly a masterpiece, from the morning pilates, hot tub and smore’s making. Everything was extremely well kept and clean. My two girlfriends and I had the most peaceful time relaxing in this cozy cabin! Thank you Austin!

My mom and I booked this space for our annual reading retreat, and we were able to relax right away. The space was perfect for the two of us, and we loved how comfortable the sectional couch was for reading in the morning. I truly appreciated how responsive and kind our host was. Some strong wind had blown a tree down in the backyard, and it blocked us from opening the hot tub. Austin responded right away and sent someone to take care of it so we were able to enjoy the hot tub during our stay. We loved the Adirondak chairs for enjoying the afternoons. It was a great, relaxing long weekend!

"Wellness in the Woods" is located just 12 minutes on the east side of Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. It's an easy drive into town via Goose Gap Road and Wears Valley Road. You're just 10 minutes from the nearest Publix, Kroger and Walmart. There is a Marathon Gas Station just 5 minutes away, and a cute local pizza shop called Stonehouse Pizza for an easy dinner or carry out. Turn right out of the neighborhood onto Goose Gap Road and just drive straight until the intersection with Waldens Creek Road. You can't miss it!
